A lithograph in colours on Arches wove paper from Picasso’s celebrated Toros y Toreros series, published by Cercle d’Art, Paris.

Issued from the 1961 Toros y Toreros suite, a published body of bullfighting drawings created in association with the matador Luis Miguel Dominguín.

The series explores the spectacle and drama of the bullfight through expressive line and reduced colour, characteristic of Picasso’s late graphic work.

Currently on view at The Francis Hotel, Bath.
