A richly coloured Flying Colours composition with deep blues, reds, greens and ochres set against a dark, vertically striped ground. The broad curved bands seem to pass in front of the background, creating a layered, almost cinematic sense of depth.
This is one of the stronger and moodier works in the group. Its palette is saturated and confident, but the repeating structure keeps the composition balanced and exact.
